Agency-based Research
Tertiary Education Commission: The Crown Agency that leads Government’s relationship with the tertiary education sector in New Zealand and provide career services from education to employment. Invests over $3 billion into tertiary education. Report: ‘Boosting outcomes
for Pasifika learners in tertiary education: 2015 research findings.’
Education Review Office: The public service department of New Zealand charged with reviewing and publicly reporting on the quality of education and care of students in all New Zealand schools and early childhood services. Various documents and research focused on Pacific education.
Ako Aotearoa: Government-funded organisation committed to supporting the country’s tertiary sector teachers, trainers and educators be the best they can be for the learners’ success. Research, videos, and tools including Pasifika and Pacific.
Teaching & Learning Research Initiative: The TLRI seeks to enhance the links between educational research and teaching practices to improve learner outcomes. The fund was established by the government in 2003. Administered by New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER). It is a mine of research, particularly completed research projects and Pasifika research.
